PassLok Image Steganography released as extension

Hot on the heels of this article explaining how the image steganography capabilities of PassLok and URSA work, the algorithm has been released as an extension for Chrome and its derivatives, and as an add-on for Firefox. This has a couple advantages that I explain below.

The first advantage is that, being an extension to the browser, you can access it with a single click, and it will follow wherever you go. The second is that no other extension will be able to snoop your password as you enter it, or look at the extracted data, since extensions are isolated from other extensions. Of course, you can always load the Web version, still available from this link, into Page Cage, which will provide the necessary isolation.
