Simple steps:
- Install Privacy Bar from here: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/privacy-bar/objpfdibjogbdpjjpomnoaflkgdeaanb
- Open it anywhere by clicking its icon. If the icon is not visible, click the Extensions icon and toggle Privacy Bar on.
- Basic functions, including most of the password-generating features and basic encryption modes, plus image steganography, are available from the start. To enable Pro functions click the Activate Pro link at the bottom of Privacy Bar. A dialog will open with a big blue button saying Get License Key, plus some other stuff. Click it.
- This takes you to the landing page at privacybar.net. Click the golden Upgrade to Pro link to lemonsqueezy.com. You’ll see a box near the bottom right for a Discount Code. Don’t enter anything yet because you need to enter your name and your email in their boxes first. No need to enter credit card details.
- Click on Discount Code an enter this: EARLYADOPT and click Apply. If you forgot to enter your name, go back and do so, then repeat. You won’t be charged anything up to October 4, 2026.
- When you get the unlock code via email, click on Activate Pro again, but this time paste the entire key you got via email in the box and click Activate Pro.
- Done! You now have a Pro license and can use every feature of Privacy Bar, including new ones that we may add.
